The organizing committee cordially welcomes all distinguished participants from around the world to the "First International Congress of Food Hygiene (1st ICFH)" in Tehran, April, 2009. The congress is organized under the auspice of the Veterinary Council of I.R. Iran.
      It is one of the international tasks of the World Association of Veterinary Food Hygienists (WAVFH) to disseminate the latest state of knowledge among the food hygienists all over the world and to transfer this knowledge in the practice of research and food inspection for the benefit of the health protection of consumers and for the development of modern food technology. The aim of this congress is also to make an international dynamic environment for having all scientists, researchers and specialists engaged in the fields of food hygiene and food technology. The program consists of invited lecturers, contributed papers and poster presentations.
